Twilio UK Limited has chosen to provide you with the opportunity to join the Group Private Medical Insurance Scheme. The aim of this benefit is to provide you with a fast, efficient and convenient service in relation to diagnosis and treatment of health issues.

You can choose to join the scheme to cover just yourself or you can also include your spouse, partner or family and this will be paid for by Twilio. However, this is a “benefit in kind” and will be taxable via your P11D return. There is no application form required to join the scheme and you do not have to answer any health questions. Instead each claim is assessed on the information provided by you at the point of claim and, if necessary, a GP or other medical practitioner. Membership will be offered to all staff but, ultimately, membership is at the discretion of the Group Secretary. Personal Health Fund included. In the event of a claim there is no excess (sometimes known as a “deductible”). Full outpatient treatment is covered on the basis that the chosen Consultant/Hospital are on Vitality’s Countrywide Hospital list. Referral by a GP will be required. |
Cover commencement | Once you have joined the scheme, confirmation of this will be within the policy documentation sent to you by VitalityHealth.
Cover may commence immediately. |
Cover ceasing | Cover may continue until you leave the company’s employment. |
Making a claim | Call VitalityHealth on 0345 602 3437 quoting scheme number 50425499 and your individual registration number that can be found on your policy document. |
